Greycoat Academy provides a variety of training opportunities for those already in private service, or those looking for Butler training or Housekeeper training as a means of entering private service.

Our training programmes are suitable for a variety of people; Students, who wish to enter private service; Butlers and Housekeepers who are looking and validate their skills at the highest level; plus Employers wishing to upgrade their employee's skills. We offer a range of courses, from the Butler Certificate Course to the Housekeeper Diploma Course as well as Workshops and Household Management Courses. Butler courses and housekeeper courses are well attended so please enquire in good time to reserve a place.

For students wanting to study from home, we also have a successful online training programme to provide flexibility to those unable to make our course dates.

Our team of highly experienced tutors also undertake personal visits to private households to provide bespoke training for housekeepers, butlers and other domestic staff.

NEW for 2010

New for 2010 is an opportunity to attend a four day course in London and gain three certificates during this time. 

Days one and two = Basic Certificate (£650 + VAT)
Additional third day = Advanced Certificate including working in the evening at a dinner (£275 + VAT)
Fourth half day = Household Management Certificate (£175 + VAT)
Optional additional 2 hour Management of the Wine Cellar course on fourth day (£150 = VAT). (Students undertaking a full fourth day pay £275 = VAT)

NB: The Advanced Course can only be undertaken if the basic course has been completed.
       The Household Management Course is open to anyone.
